Music

You are responsible for arranging the musical program for your wedding.  You are free to make arrangements with the organist and cantors of St. Joseph's or with other musicians outside of the parish community.  Please provide St. Joseph's with a list of your musical selections at least two weeks before your wedding.

All music selections are to be sacred in nature and are to make reference to God in the text.  If the wedding ceremony is to take place within the context of a Mass, the Psalm, Gospel Acclamation, and Eucharist Acclamations (Sanctus or Holy, Holy, Memorial Acclamation, Amen, and Lamb of God) are to be sung.

Music is to be chosen so that there is a connection between the liturgical action and the words of the song.
