_______________________________________________________________________ PENNY SOCIAL...SAVE THE DATE: The Cardinal Spellman Columbiettes #5800 will be holding the 6th annual Penny Social on Saturday, Jan. 28th, 2012, snow date of Sunday, Jan. 29th, 2012, in the Church Hall. Admission is free. Doors will open at 11 AM. Calling to begin at noon. Raffle tickets and plenty of lunchtime refreshments will be for sale. “COME AWAY” Always want to make a retreat but can’t get away? Not enough time, too costly? Then why not try something nearby and free! On February 3, the first Friday of the month, be part of “Come Away”, a mini retreat here in the parish, starting at 3:00pm. Attend the full or any portion of the program. See Brother Salvatore for more info. FREE TAX PREPARATION AND E-FILING: Beginning on Tuesday February 7th volunteers trained as tax counselors will prepare and e-file your Federal and NYS Tax Returns in selected sites around Ulster County (St. Joseph’s Hall included). Assistance to low and moderate income individuals with special attention to those over age 55. Phone 845 802 7190 for additional information and an appointment between 10 AM and 2 PM or leave a message. Presented by AARP and IRS with assistance by Ulster Office of Aging and Ulster RSVP, and Ulster County Community Action. All parishioners who attend on a regular basis should be registered, as well as any family participating in the Religious Education Program, or you are sending your children to an area Catholic School.
